Aodh’s sword comes from the legendary “Crown of Serpents,” a set of weaponry forged near the beginning of The People’s existence by its greatest blacksmith, Padraic (“noble man”). The “Crown” consisted of six magnificent blades, of which only two remain: Séú Nathdrack (the “Sixth Serpent”), held by the Reds’ First Blade, Aodh, and Neacal (“Victory of the People”), wielded by her father, Caderyn.

Both blades of the Crown have seen countless battles and led The People to one victory after another. Séú Nathdrack was passed to Aodh (as First Sword of the Red Clan) when Caderyn became Battle Lord (taking custody of Neacal). The People’s history is rife with legendary battles faced by the Crown of Serpents and the individuals who held them. They are the physical, iconic representation of The People’s past, present and future. To handle any blade of the Crown is a sacred honor.
