THE FÁTHACH

The giant statues scattered around the Great Desolation are known as the Fáthachs (or “giants”). It is also the name given to the unknown people whose hands carved the colossuses from entire mountainsides and canyon valley walls. Not much is known about the giants. There is an ongoing debate between Clan elders whether the statue monoliths are the likenesses of the Fáthach. Most believe they were Anomaly’s native population. There is no archaeological evidence to either confirm or repudiate this opinion.
